If you flip through your memory, the subconscious storage would be familiar with precious personalities like Maurice Wambua-(Maurize-Captain).Lyssette Mito-(Chidichidi-sweety wa Yesu) and Beatrice Nyaruiru-(Betty).The booting operation would continue to unveil all the traits and images associated with them, depending on your disposition and interaction. The three Kenyan students have been  here at Kosin for the last one year. The collaboration between Daystar University (Kenya) and Kosin University was established in 2006.Among the pioneers was Benson Kamary-(current phd candidate), the first ever African faces in Kosin. You can imagine the experience!

They leave with us a legacy displayed through the richness of their personalities. Maurize, a fourth year Community Development-Integrated student, will be remembered for his services as KUSAF captain. His exceptional qualities in soccer were  catalysts that catapulted our football outlook and the overall performance. We are still scratching our heads as we think of his replacement. To others, he will be remembered as a smiling, calm and humble man.Moving on to Lyssette, most of us would agree that she was an outgoing and a very social person. Her interactions, stories and conversation sustaining skills still remain with us. The finalist Communication-Public Relations student reflects well her major. Some would point her face book quotes and the rate at which she changed her face book names. Her zeal and passion for God was evident until others named her ‘preacher lady’.Turning on to Nyaruiru, the quiet and reflective Betty showed commitment and dedication to activities she engaged in. Her catering skills were splendid and the overall output would be recognized. The third year Communication-Print Media student leaves a mark on her docket as vice secretary, where she spearheaded minute writing, and contributed to blog articles.

As part of tradition, KUSAF threw a small farewell party to appreciate and wish them well. During the event members were given chance to give brief remarks as well as writing some strengths that stood out during their stay in Kosin, an act of appreciative inquiry and gift identification. The three, appreciated the KUSAF family for the support received while in Kosin. Each of them pointed various issues that marked their stay, and spelled out the progress realized in their personal lives. They left on July 27th and have communicated to us that they had a safe flight.
